Determiners

 Determiners :-                                  A determiner signals the coming of a noun in a sentence.  Determiners fall into the following categories: i)-  Articles:-    a, an, the ii)- Possessives :-  my, our, your, his, her, their, its iii)-  Demonstratives :-   this, that, these, those  These are used to point out people or things.         e.g. This dress is black. That girl is beautiful. iv)-  distributives:-  each, every, either, neither They refer to each member of a class separately:           e.g. You have met seven boxers . Each boy is smart/Every girl is beautiful. V) Number expressions :-  another, many, several, some, any, no, few, enough, a number of, a lot of, lots of, plenty of, some of, many of, one, two, three ...                       Transformation of sentences:-   There are  three types  of Transformation of sentences. Those are – Simple Sentences Complex Sentences and Compound Sentences                To know the transformation of sentences, we will have to discuss about clauses..... What is Clause?  The clause is where there will be a subject and a predicate as a group of words, but that will not be considered as a full senten ce. The clause can be of two types. Those are – 1. Independent Clause:- A Clause that –     contains both a subject and a predicate.      can stand alone as a sentence or     can be a part of a multi-clause sentence.     uses conjunctions such as – or, for, nor, so, yet, and, but.
