Ans.
A good composition is characterized by qualities which make it effective. It
adheres to the principal of unity in the development of a single idea or
emotional effect. It also possesses a certain degree of originality and a
characteristic style. There must be unity in the whole theme that means all the
paragraphs must contribute to one idea. It should also has coherence which
means there should be relationship among the paragraphs. A composition must
also be emphatic in the organization and disposition of its material.

is the importance of introduction of an essay?
Ans.
Introduction is the most important part of an essay. It conveys the essence and
facts of the story or an essay. It creates the background and also the base of
the essay. It is like the opening lines which need to be strong enough. The
quality of an essay introduction determines whether the essay is powerful,
meaningful or not. It conveys the central idea. Thus, the introduction of an essay
is very important.

The Game You Like Most
There are a number of games both Indian and foreign.
Cricket, tennis, football are foreign games. They are costly on the other hand ,
Kabbadi , wrestling etc. are Indian games. I like to play "Kabadi' more
than any other game. It is my favourite game.
Kabbadi
can easily be played in small field. It does not require a large playground.
The field is divided into two parts by drawing a line in the middle. There are
two teams each of eight players. One team plays on each side of the line. A
player from one of the two teams goes to the other side and tries to touch a
player of the opposite side. If he is captured he is declared dead. On the
other hand, if he succeeds the returns of his side of the line. The player who
has been touched is supposed to be dead. The dead player sits part and does not
participate in the games. In this way the game continues till one of the
parties defeated. Whatever game it is, it should be played with sportsmen
spirit. Games enhance brotherhood.
A Visit to a Museum
Museums
are our historical treasures. They are very useful for the history students. It
was the month of November this year. We went to Lucknow on November 20 to
attend a marriage of my cousin. We had the day time at our disposal. We decided
to visit the museum of Lucknow.
We purchased
a ticket and went into the building. It was a big building. It was divided into
different sections with different exhibits.
First, we
visited the zoological section. We saw there a number of stuffed birds and
animals. My younger sister began to cry when she saw a tiger. It looked alive.
We also saw statues, idols and manuscripts there, We also saw weapons. They
included bows and arrows, swords and shields, spears and lancers, guns-small
and big. We also saw old coins, dresses of kings and the generals.
We gained a
lot of knowledge about the ancient things from the visit. We learnt a great
deal of arts and handicrafts and the culture of our ancestors.
Population Explosion
Population explosion is not only a problem in India;
it has reached a menacing proportion all over the world, especially in the
poorer countries. It refers to the sudden and rapid rise in the size of
population, especially human population. It is an unchecked growth of human
population. There are many reasons responsible like increased birth rate,
decreased infant mortality rate, early marriage, illiteracy. Population
explosion is more prominent in under-developed and developing countries than in
developed countries. Over population results in poverty , unemployment,
illiteracy, poor health, poor economy. This problem cannot be ignored.
Government must take important steps to control. Education must be imparted
about its effects. This problem needs to be overcome for development.
Travel and
Tourism
Tourism
is travel for leisure, recreational and business purpose. Tourism is a known affair
in human life. It has been an industry of vast dimension. Travel and tourism
supports economic and social growth of a nation. Tourism is the world's largest
industry. India being a vast and diverse country has always something to offer
and its glorious traditions and rich cultural heritage are linked with the
development of tourism. Tourism is the largest service industry in India.
Booming IT industry and outsourcing industry has led to growing number of
business trips made by foreigner to India. Foreign tourist spends more in India
than almost any other country world wide. Tourism minister has also played an
important role in the development of the industry, initiating advertising
compaigns such as Incredible India campaign which promoted India's culture and
tourist attractions in a fresh and memorable way.
The
tourism industry has helped growth in other sectors as diverse as horticulture,
handicraft, agriculture, construction and even poultry. Both directly and
indirectly, tourism industry has proved a helping hand towards country's
economy.
Role of Media
The
importance and the impact of media cannot be marginalized in the world of
today. In the modern world of quick communication and quick information media
plays a very crucial role. The original role of media was and still is to give
to the public all relevant information about occurrences in the country and the
world. Now the written media includes a host of publications, dailies,
fortnightly, weeklies, monthly all giving information about events. Multifarious
avenues are being touched upon, whether it be local, national or international.
All avenues of news, business, health, sports, films and entertainment are
being dwelt upon at great length. The greatest advantage is spreading news,
knowledge and information through the length and breadth of the world. Media
has helped in spreading awareness, even to the remote villages. The job of theirs
is not only provide news of all happening around but also to create awareness.
Thus,
the media, whatever it be print or electronic media, its importance at least in
the modern world cannot be denigrated.
Science and Technology
Science
is a systematic way which involves observation and experimentation in order to
get knowledge and improve skill whereas, technology is the practical
application of science which helps in improving the quality of life. New
inventions in the field of science and technology play great role in the daily
lives of people and making their life style advance. It had made lives of
people easy, easier and easiest.
Advancement in these fields have both direct and
indirect effect of people's lives. In
this competitive world we need more technology to go
ahead and become a successful person in the life. Development, whether it is
human development or country's it is linked with growth in science and
technology.
Development
in the science and technology is very necessary for people of any nation to go
hand in hand together by the people of other countries. This development.
depends on the way of application of various scientific knowledge in right
direction. For the betterment of the people of any nation, up-to-date
knowledge, technology, science are the fundamental requisites. A nation can be
backward and the chances of being developed country become minimal in the lack
of science and technology.
My Favourite
Subject
A
number of subjects are being taught in schools and colleges. It includes maths,
hindi, geography, history, civics, english and many more. Every subject is of
its own type. Every student develop a like or dislike towards these subjects.
This depends on personal tastes. My favourite subject since I was exposed
towards it for the first time is English. For me it is the best subject to read
and write.
I love
the passages, poems, dramas of english writers. For me actually it is not re
stricted to a subject that need to be scored marks in but something more than
it. English is a language and thus, its scope is wider than any other subjects.
It adds beauty to poetry. Wheather it is language or literature part both are
wide and beautiful. English being an internal language has gained a lot of
importance today. Everyone today wants to learn, read, write and speak
specially in English. English has always been a fascinating subject specially
for me. There has always been an urge inside me to learn more and better
english. The more I learn of the subject the more I love it.
Water is the
basis of all life
Water
is one of the basic necessity of all living beings. It is the basis of all life
forms. None of the living form can survive without water. Life without water
can even not be imagined. The most sacred qualities of water is life giving,
sustaining and purifying resources that existed even before the heaven and the
earth. Life without water cannot exist. Water is found every where on earth,
from the polar ice caps to steamy geysers. And wherever water flows on this
planet, one can be sure to find life. The reason behind importance of water is
its several chemical properties that makes it indispensable for living
creatures. Not only can water dissolve nearly anything but it is also one of
only a few materials that can exist as solid, liquid and gas. The muscles that
move your body are 75% water, blood responsible for transportation is 82%
water. Lungs, are 90% water while brain is 76%.
Apart
from this if we talk about daily necessities, water is required for a number of
therm from drinking to bathing, human activities require water for all. Besides
water regulates temperature outside as well as inside body. But today this
important element it too in danger. It has taken turn towards crisis.
There are
many people who are not able to access it properly. The level of water on earth
is getting depleted. And the reason behind is human activities only.
Man needs to
put a check on wastage of water. To continue access of it human
activities
need to be controlled, so that future generations may also enjoy the benefits
of water.
Indian Nuclear
Policy
The credit of Indian nuclear power goes to the first
chairman of Indian atomic commis sion Dr. H. J. Bhabha who was responsible for
laying the infrastructure for nuclear research in India. The emergence of India
as a nuclear power has enhanced the prestige of India in the world. In fact,
India is the first among the undeveloped countries of the third world to have
gone nuclear countries of Europe and America critized India's entry into the world
nuclear club, countries like Russia, Yugoslavia applauded this development.
Pakistan raised a great hue and try against India.
India had never ever had any intention to make an
atorn bomb or its nuclear capability for military purpose. India aims rather to
use it for peaceful purposes and for industrial development. It can be used for
blasting and removal of mountains creation of lakes it deserts, changing course
of rivers and generation of nuclear energy for electricity etc.
There is
no doubt that if a nuclear war breaks out no one will survive. There will be
neither victor nor vanquished. Former Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee
proceedly announced to the nation and rest of the world about India venturing
into the exclusive club of nuclear weapon states as part of the national
society shield.
Science as a
Curse
Today, the
mankind is living under the shadow of sudden death. It appears that the journey
will any day come to an end. Now we stand on the brink of complete and final
destruction.
Man has
been living on this earth for thousands of years. It has been giving him
everything he needed. Then how it became a curse ? The answer is its
inventions. It has bought more fear and danger than hope and comfort. In the
beginning scope appeared to be the greatest friend but slowly it changed its
face. It is true that science has bought many comforts to man, had made its
life easy. It has the gift of industrialization but this very gift is a poision
for a greater part of man
kind. The advanced and powerful nations exploit and
depress the weak and small people. As compared to the past, the man used to be
happier with the advancement in science, sorrows, griefs and pains have also
increased. Increasing pollution, deadly diseases, con taminated food and water
are all due to science.
Today
science has become more of curse than of a boon. Life of man lies in danger
every second just because of science.
Politics and
Youth
Youth is
considered to be the real strength of a nation. Youth are said to be in tendee
age. They are not experienced but full of energy, new and innovative thoughts.
India is the biggest democracy, where real power lies in the hands of people
who select the people who rule it. Understanding the mental state of youth,
government has decided the age to caste vote to be 18 years and thus, gives a
broad base to the democrative processes, It also gives the message that youth
is wise enough to participate in it and understand their responsibilities.
There has been much debate and discussion on various circles across
the
country on whether the youth should take part in politics. Many people believe
that the youngsters being of tender age do not fully comprehend the intrigues
connected with politics for which it is often called a dirty game. Another fear
is that politics is dominated by middle aged and old people. If the youth also
enter the arena, there is a possibility of atmosphere becoming rivalry.
But it must
not be forget that young people are not only enthusiastic and energetic but are
also full of new ideas. They are able to unstill freshness in the political
affairs of their respective region as well as nation. It can be conducted that
today's youth are highly intelligent and educated. They have
a high
awareness level. If they take part in politics, they will enrich it with their
new ideas.
Women's Rights
Or Women Empowerment
Women's
rights are the rights and entitlements claimed for women and girls world wide.
Today most women have gained legal rights throughout the world. Women have had to
go through some hard time to get these rights and come out of this
discrimination. Since generations women were deprived of equal rights.
Motherhood and wifehood was supposed to be the only jobs of a woman she is born
to serve man was a social view. But now the time has changed.
Woman is
the Gods most beautiful and complete creation, she is the symbol of independence,
love, caring, gentleness and intensity both in love and in hate. Women are emotionally
strong than man. Women is in no parameters less than man still in our society
the rights of women are ruined.
Women enjoy
equal rights in every sphere whether it is independence education, training,
jobs etc. The law which deprives women of their rights in void or null. None of
such lines are statements are mentioned in our constitution by its framers that
deprives women or gives more rights to man. Woman is equal in the eyes of laws
and enjoys equal opportunity. She being the stronger cannot be deprived just on
the basis of belonging to a fair sense. Only that society can survive or
develop where women are given equal rights.

Internet in Education
An
importance of internet as a learning tool is significant. The development of
internet technologies has raised the education level in all countries and it
has changed the way students are being taught at schools.
Internet
application respond to students and other people questions in real time.
Students are seeing google as a new teacher and the internet as a school.
Internet has been crucial in the evolution of our education system in various
ways. Teachers can use it as a modern tool for education. Education department
should provide the
infrastructure that teachers and students can use to
get benefits of technology in education. Internet provides wide range of books
and materials to study and refrence material to all students can get indepth
knowledge just in seconds. There is also a wide range of terminology and its
meaning available. Above all, the matter can be gathered in any of the
language.

Cinema on Society
Since its beginning, the cinema has remained the
most powerful media for mass communication. Cinema has the ability to combine
entertainment with communication of ideas. It has the potential appeal for its
audience. There are variable virus about the effects of cinema. Producers and
financiers consider it as a tempting and lucrative business. The some, it is an
audio-visual translation of litera tures and its own message. For majority of
cinema-goers, it is nothing but a cheap and interesting form of entertainment
and pastime.
Whatever
may be the reason, cinema has occupied a major share of market for its cine
lovers. In the present era, cinema social issues. also trying to bring
awareness among public by showing social issues.
It is
always good and well groomed to see good subjects on cinema. They have a very
pastime and long-lasting effect on the minds. Whereas cheap and shabby movie
affect the tender minds of audience very badly. There is general feeling that
present day crimes are all due to effects of cinema. It has bad affect on
health, studies and physical activities of youngsters and students.
The motive
is not to discard cinema but to stop or discard the undesirable acts. It
should show
selective and choosy acts and issues.
Clean India, Green India
We the
people of India are firm believer of spirituality and wellness. In order to
live in harmony with nature and to curb the pollution, which is rising at an
alarming level. The slogan Clean India Green India has been the objective of
the present regime. Over exploitation of the natural resources has put the
burden on our natural habitat. The major worry of the next decade will be to
prevent our depleting forest reserves and in urban area a cleanliness
initiative in order to live a better living.
With the
rise of population and expansion of town and cities, the forest reserves have
been encroached and have been eroded scrupulously. It has a dampening effect on
the bio ecological balance and has disturbed the eco system. The green belt
that work as a form of shield to counter the impact of global warming has taken
a setback owning to corruption and self centered attitude of human existence.
The need
of the hour is to plant trees on a war footing in order to prevent the greenery
in and around the cities. The infrastructure of our country needs to be
improved looking into the rising population, but this comes at the cost of
cutting trees. The cleanliness of rivers and lakes in and around cities,
villages is also a cause of concern. The modern garbage collection system and
disposal of waste and garbage have to be implemented, so it does not pollute
our rivers and environment. Many initiative has been taken to improve upon the
situation but unless the people realizes the importance of this it is the work
half done.
Lack of
hygiene facilities in rural, urban habitat and improper disposal of debris
leads to various diseases that harm our existence. Improper infrastructure in
cities have put extra burden on rivers, lakes and on our natural resources.
Clean India and green India will make our country among the few nation who care
about our environment and want to pass on cleaner air to breathe in for our
future generation. But without whole hearted participation of the public and
government of the day it seems an impossible task.
The Importance of Green Trees
The very existence of human being is dependent upon
the importance of green trees. The life on earth is entirely revolves around
the mechanism of the eco system in which trees play an important role of
detoxification of the atmosphere. Trees give us life directly and indirectly as
they are source of oxygen production, CO₂ consumption and source of rain.
They are most precious gift to the humanity on the earth from nature for which
we must be grateful, give honour and preserve for the mankind wellness.
We should
understood importance of trees in our lives and do our best to save trees in
order to save life, save environment on the earth and make earth a green earth.
Trees are as valuable as gold that's why they are called as "Green
Gold" on the earth. They are the real source of our health as well as
wealth because they give us oxygen, cool air, fruits, spices, vegetables,
medicines, water, wood, furniture, shadow, fuel to burn, houses, fodder to
animals and other useful things. They consume all the CO₂, refresh air
from toxic gases and prevent us from the air pollution.
Due to the
expansion of the cities and agricultural needs we have cut down trees
indiscriminately which has led to global warming and change in weather
condition. The super highways that are built to ease our traffic at the cost of
cutting down trees. This has lead to extreme weather condition that will be
harmful for human existence. The expansion of desert terrain and lack of green
pasture will affect the balance of various life and species indirectly
hampering the human life on earth.
The
shrinking of forest reserves have put many animals, birds at the brim of
extinction. The conflict between humans and animals in tiger reserve also leads
to harm the existence of forest. In the name of development we humans are
putting our life at stake. The life balance that exists in the planet has
already been disturbed, stringent steps have to be taken in order to reverse
the dangerous trend, otherwise it may be too late.
The ill effects of Internet
Internet access, which used to be a
luxury, has now become a necessity for people in this digital era. This shows
how immensely internet is ruling our life. The enhancing utilization of the
internet has been a great impact in the domain of education, economy and social
relationships. However, it is well said excess of anything is a threat for life
and the same applies for internet access. It is seen that despite of many
benefits, internet has negative impacts on morality. As we know, nothing interesting
is ever completely one sided. In the same way, internet is also endowed with
both pros and cons. Here are some positive and e negative impacts of internet
on society.
Many
unlawful and unbefitting information is accessible on internet without any
constraint. Even kids have easy access to sites not meant for them such as
pornography, adult sites, and many more. All illegal or copyrights restricted
materials like music albums, videos, and other documents are available on
internet, thereby enhancing act like piracy Cyber crimes are increasing
day-by-day due to casy access to internet. Computer viruses are propagating at
fast rate, thereby causing severe crimes such as financial, security, and many
others.
Sharing
personal life on social networking is becoming a big challenge as it is
blooming many crimes related to kidnapping, human trafficking, loot, etc.
Virtual life is becoming more prominent than real life. People are ready to
show emotions on internet but in real they are far away from that. Due to easy
internet access on every gadgets, people are now more addicted to computers and
mobile phones, thereby leading to various health issues.
People
are loosing real contacts and are now started believing in virtual contacts.
They are so busy on internet chatting distant people that they don't even
realize that person sitting nearby wants their company. Various fabricated
information is available websites which may mislead resulting to sever
consequences.
Hacking
is proliferating like mushrooms, which is a big threat to the security of our
system. Younger generations are so dependent on internet that many times they
are misguided by the inappropriate information, thereby creating a difficult
situation for themselves.People prefer to spend time on internet rather than
secing their families.
Problem of
Child Labour
It is the problem that is alarming in our country
and world wide where most of the people are living below poverty line. To make
their ends meet, no parents forced their kids into work. They are devoid of the
basic human rights to get themselves educated and lead a better life. Mostly
they are subject to exploitation and are made minimal wages. Also some of them
are deputed the task which are risky and can be fatal. It affects their overall
health and leads to stunted growth. The mal nourishment among children is a
cause of concern. When they are devoid of work, they resort to begging and also
are pressed into illegal activities, thus increasing the crime rate. Child
labour is ban in India but still people employ them because they get cheap
labour. Stringent punishment and prosecution is the need of the hour but the
law agencies do not pay heed to it. Mostly the child labours are appointed in
small restaurants, on minimum wages. Some of them are also into drug peddling
which is detrimental to the society. The government and NGO's are doing their
bit but still a lot needs to be done. The society, the state and law enforcing
authority should come together in order to curb this menace,
Situation of
Indian Farmers
India is
an agricultural country still Indian farmers live a life of apathy and in a
miserable condition. The situation on the ground is very grim and they live a
life worse than abonded laborer. It is a paradox that those who are responsible
for the production of crops are not able to earn sufficiently for their
livelihood. India is full of resources but the need of the hour is to fully tap
the potential of Indian farmers. Lot of subsidies and schemes are floated by
the Government but it does not reach the needy. Corruption and cronyism led to
false utilization of the schemes. Indian farmers should be given topmost
priorities in the Government schemes. Scientific training and support of the
Government can make their life
casier. Insurance of the crop, proper irrigation
facilities and healthy breeding of the seeds and cattle trade should be
encouraged. Milk products, harvesting facilities should be subsidized, so that
every farmer can avail such schemes. The agriculture should be treated as an
industry, and it should generate employment so that the people are encouraged
to agriculture and farming as a profession.
High
tech device- A Boon or a Bane
Human
being has been always innovative and has continuously worked towards developing
new devices, in order to ease life. It has started with the invention of wheel,
and now in this era we have plenty of devices which serve us to make our life
easy and luxuriant. We have developed devices such as mobile phones, smart
cars, easy means of communicat ing. In the field of medicine and medical
science, new devices have made many incurable conditions curable. Surgery of
sensitive organs has increased the longevity of humans. Mobile phone has
increased communication between people easier. It is worth noticing that the
invention of computers and IT has been a boon for industries as well as for
common man. The life of people has become so dependent on technology that he
cannot think living without them. The mobile and internet has made
communication and exchange of knowledge and information possible with the click
of a button.
We as humans are now dreaming of going to the frontiers of space which
our ances tors cannot imagine. The spacecraft are efficient enough are being
developed so that other planets can be explored. Commuting between cities has
been comfortable and enjoyable because of new devices such as sensors in the
car and vehicle. It is less tiring and also takes less time to travel from one
place to another. But high tech devices also plays a risk of our been dependent
upon them. It is no doubt that it has cased our lives but it also brings out
challenges to live with such technological innovation. It is also costly as far
as its maintenance is concern.

A modern Utility or a Health Hazard
Mobile
Phones has been a major invention in the last decade or so. This instrument can
be seen in the hands of every individual irrespective of his background. It has
revolutionized the means of communication with people. The advent of internet
and development, of smart phones have made many tasks of the people easy. The
information and knowledge of the people if properly utilized have been the
biggest advantage. The ease of communication and sharing information has given
a boost to business and lives of common man. The mobile phones have become a
tool of great utility for an individual in terms of passing information and
also sharing his thoughts and messages. People can be located easily with the
help of smart phones. Now, new inventions in mobile phones leads to its use
besides communication. Photographs can be taken, voice recording and internet
has become handy tools in the hands of individual. It is no doubt that mobiles
have become a part and parcel of life.
But
alongside its utility it has also brought up challenges, people are suffering
from various psychological diseases because of their dependence on mobile.
People suffer nomophobia as all the information are stored in the gadget. Too
much dependence on mobile leads to lessening of human potential, thus
undermining our own intelligence. Too much chatting on phone can lead to our
body exposed to radiation and glare of the screen affects our eye sight. We are
subjected to lot of information bombardment that often leads to fatigue and
loss of memory related issues Lack of concentration will driving and using the
mobile can also lead to fatal accidents. It is therefore advisable that people
should utilize the benefits but also keep in mind the possible hazards an
excessive dependence on this instrument. We should not be disconnected with the
human values and our natural instinct which makes us superior to other beings.
Terrorism: A
threat to Humanity
In
the 21st century, terrorism is one of the major threats our humanity is facing.
All over the world, terror as a weapon has been used to put up the demands
before a regime. But, it leads to unnecessary bloodshed and loss of humanity.
History has proved time and again that terror in is not the solution to any political
problem that exists in the world. Few misguided people, mostly youths are lured
in the path of terrorist act, just for the want of power or religion badly
misinterpreted. No religion in this world preaches violence. But in the name of
religion, caste or language when people resort to violence, it harms the cause
and the people practicing it. Taking up arms against an establishment is no
answer to a major problem. But often we see that enemy countries use this as a
tool to put up pressure on others to settle border dispute. Indirectly
patronizing terrorism.
Human
values teaches us to live in harmony but practicing violence and terror leads
to a simple solution into a more complex one. India and Pakistan are facing
such atrocities since seventy years. A solution can be only worked out when you
sit across the table and your intension is to solve it. Lot of money which can
be fruitfully utilized for the development of people are diverted in purchasing
weapons and maintaining security. Many of the issues which are relevant around
the world are still unresolved due to terrorism. Now it has many educated
people becoming&errorist is a mojor threat posing before humanity. It's
time that peace loving countries should be united to counter the menace of terrorism.
Otherwise in times to come we will be left with regrets and blood in our hands.
We will pass to the new generations to come only petty conflicts that are a
major threat to human beings. We will destroy this beautiful gift to us by
nature.
Need to
Educate the Girl child
One of
the problems that is facing our humanity is the second hand treatment of women.
In our society women have to face various kinds of discrimination, both social
and religious in nature. They are treated as mere objects and various dogma's
are associated with them. The problem of discrimination can be countered only
if women are educated and are self dependent. The educated women is aware about
the rights of being a women and can come out against the problem that are posed
by the society. Illiteracy among women is a major issue that faces our society.
Educating a women and making her economically inde pendent will help major
issues like dowry deaths, rituals that are male dominated in our society. The health
of women is also very important and it is linked with the upcoming generation.
Education will bring awareness among women and they will be able to take better
care of themselves and her children. Problems of female infanticide, dowry,
crime against women like rape and molestation will significantly reduce if they
